All of our app's billing is handled by Shopify, so removing the app from your store will automatically cancel any future billing.
Additionally, uninstalling the app does not delete any customer data stored in Shopify, including metafields and customer records. However, certain in-app data such as pending or denied customer records might not be preserved.
From your Shopify admin, navigate to Settings > Apps and sales channels.
Locate the Helium Customer Fields app in the list of installed apps.
Click the three dots next to the app's name and select "Uninstall".
Provide feedback if prompted, then click the red "Delete" button to finalize the uninstallation.
If you installed the app prior to November 8, 2022, you may need to take additional steps to fully remove Customer Fields code from your theme. Learn more.
To better safeguard your data before uninstalling, it is advisable to follow these steps:
Export App Specific Customer Data: Use the app's export feature to save your pending and denied customer data as a CSV file, ensuring a local backup.
Backup Forms: Utilize the app’s tools to back up any custom forms created with the Helium Customer Fields app prior to uninstallation.
If you reinstall the app within 30 days, your forms, settings, and imported customers will be waiting for you just as they were. After 30 days, your forms, settings, and other data will be erased and you'll have to start from scratch.
It is recommended to ensure all important customer data and forms are backed up before uninstalling to avoid any potential loss.
